2023 Okanagan Nation Alliance Salmon Feast
Sept 15-17, 2023, Okanagan Falls Provincial Park
ONTEH manned a highly visual information table at the 2023 Okanagan Nation Alliance Salmon Feast, Sept. 15 to 17, 2023 at Okanagan Falls Provincial Park.
We handed out brochures, pamphlets and gift bags and ran a colouring contest for the kids and a prize giveaway for the adults.
And of course we answered numerous questions about our services and familiarized many with the ONTEH name.

International Overdose Awareness Day
Aug. 31, 2023, Gyro Park, Penticton
ONTEH participated in the local observance of International Overdose Awareness Day at Penticton’s Gyro Park on Aug. 31, 2023.
We feel such events, in the midst of the current drug toxicity crisis, are crucial. Other worthy attendees included Penticton Overdose Prevention Society, Interior Health, Discovery House, Moms Stop the Harm, OneSky Community Resources and South Okanagan Women In Need Society.
ONTEH representatives interacted with scores of interested passers-by and attendees during our three-plus hours on site. We handed out snacks and refreshments and numerous products emblazoned with the ONTEH logo, and staged a prize draw. We familiarized countless people with ONTEH and added our voices to a very important cause. We feel it was a morning well spent.
